I was born January 6, 1958.  Given that I was leaving my mom's uterus inside of a warm hospital, I wasn't particularly aware of the weather.  My mom, however, always made a point of telling me how they made two trips to the hospital that day.  Suffice to say that when I saw the scene in City Slickers where Billy Crystal's character, Mitch Robbins,  was mouthing what his mother said about the day of his birth,  I could relate. Seemed like each year it was colder, snowier, and a greater hardship.
