CodeCamp
We're making an architecture for a system of networked learning on wagn about wagn, the platform we are "on" right now.
We're going to be talking about data, structure, programming, objects, interfaces, and code but we're doing it in the context of culture, ethics and the new way of thinking about systems. We want to take our learners deeply into the inner workings of our networked software ecosystem beginning with a discussion of objects, files, protocols, and processes that bring our community's collective intelligence together. For the web to be useful, this intelligence must take on forms that can be transmitted faithfully across time and space via servers, workstations and mobile devices. Electronic communication networks predate the Internet by 150 years, but these days, the hubs and centers of the networks have become more distributed and accessible by more and more "ordinary" people who have less specific knowledge of how all this stuff works. This CodeCamp is for new "Wagneers" - http://wagn.org/Wagneers
