What is a Neme?

At the a general level a neme is a bounded network.  In mathematics it is a bounded set. In sociology it is a group that has a boundary.  The group could be a family, a cmmunity, a nation state all the way to the biosphere.  In psycholgy it is a person. 

The neologism "neme" has the advantage of being a super category that includes the others and more.  

Each neme - bounded network, set, group, person, - evolves.  The purpose of nemetics is to understand the conditions under which change occurs. What are the factors that are more or less important under different conditions?  What can we do now to effect the changes we want to see in the future.
