Expand this.  Builds on the idea of the people's security in their homes as metaphoric of sovereign monarchs. Progressively removing patriarchy and priviledge from the metaphor and we have a sort-of libertarian ethic of free individuals.  The critical question is how this sovereignty manifest collectively?
